like you see in a lot of video games that its actually really easy to drift but i’ve noticed throughout watching and drifting myself that it feels as easy as it shows to break the tires loose but yet its always hard to keep it drifting…are the actual drifting tires as easy to drift with or are they just like regular tires?
Are Drifting Tires As Slick As People Portray Them As In Video Games Or No?

No they are not slick. In fact, for a controlled drift, you need good traction. It sounds odd but with too slick of a tire, the car will just keep sliding sideways and you won’t be able to correct it to keep the car drifting in the direction you want.
It depends more on the car you use to drift with. A light car with tons of horsepower is easier to break the tires loose and keep them spinning. It takes practice and experience to get really good at drifting.
no there not as slick
