Hey all. My game occasionally crashes randomly to the desktop while I’ll be playing without any error message. It’s worth noting that right before the crash, the sound will studder. Does anyone know of a possible solution? It’s really getting on my last nerve.
It’s also worth noting that I’m running windows XP 32-bit, and my BF2 game version is 1.41.

Try running the game in a window to see if you get an error message.
Right click on the Bf2 shortcut, select properties and change +fullscreen 1 to +fullscreen 0
Change it back when you have found the problem.
I’m guessing it has to do with video or audio drivers.
