   Xbox 360: The Xbox Is Amazing And Is Built For Pure Gaming. However Its Graphics Are Not As Powerful As The PS3 But The Games Catolauge Is Much Better Than PS3
   Playstation 3: The Playstation Is Fantastic And Is A Complete Home Entertainment Package. Blu-Ray Does Make Movies Better And Its Graphics Are Good. Games Are Okay But The PS3 Is For The Future.
   Verdict: If You Want A Great Console Now, Get A 360. If You Want A Console That Can Survive The Future. PS3.
   My Choice? PS3.

   (Superior console does not always make for better; ie. 3DO)

   the 360 is junk, just look up on here all the problems people are having with them. the ps3 does have fewer games, but the 360 has been out for a year more. the ps3 is more powerful and it is the better console. the 360 is already an outdated system.

   You should get Xbox 360. The Xbox lasts long you gonna play for ever. If your going to get a Xbox you should definitely get a Gold Membership. Me and my brother played gears for war 16 hours straight until 5 in the morning some days, the minimum we played would be 10 hours. Though the PS3 has frre online membership it aint got the games. Yes i know it’s new but i don’t think it’s gonna ever have good games. The PS2 was good but i can’t say that for the PS3.I like to call it PS£. The answer is Xbox360. But the Ps3 is well worth is price tag, so who ever says it aint they need to think be for they speak.

   The prices are 5-600$ for the PS3
   and 3-400$ for the 360
   There are many differances between the games available on each console….
   The Playstation line in general is known for its excellent RPG’s (Role Playing Game’s), (The Final Fantasy Series, etc.)
   The Xbox line is well known for it’s best-selling first person shooters (The Halo series..) along with many violent RPG’s…now don’t get me wrong, the playstation has many violent RPG’s (God of War), and that’s a big generalization…
   My thoughts on the Xbox are-
   This is an excellent, well established machine..
   it is reasonably priced because microsoft pays much more to build it than the price they sell it to you for!
   It has many popular games…..
   The hardware in it is nice…but not quite so groundbreaking as the PS3….(my job is computer’s)
   My general thoughts on the Playstation 3 are-
   This one is also reasonably priced, seeing that Sony sells it for much, much less than they paid to make it! (all companies earn back that money by making the games more expensive..)
   This system could be king of the Beasties..
   but it’s not right now.
   It’s hardware is better than Xbox…sorry guys its true.
   and the discs used allow much more space (more levels..better graphics..look at the ps3 version of Elder Scrolls: Oblivian compared to the Xbox 360 counterpart.)
   All these systems carry (and will carry) great games..
   Playstation 3
   If you have money $ than you could buy the playstation 3..but it doesnt have as much games yet and is more expensive. But it has better graphics and hardware..and a really BRIGHT FUTURE..
   or
   Xbox
   If you have a tighter budget than you could buy the Xbox…a reasonably priced console with good graphics as well, with POPULAR GAMES. but this console doesnt have as much room for improvement as the PS3..this is both a good thing and a bad thing..
   If this isn’t enough info than i would suggest buying the official Xbox 360 magazine or the Playstation Magazine! Those’ll give you alot of info.
   PLAYSTATION 2
   Is an excellent machine..but you have to realize, the PS3 has a PS1 & 2 built in…plus a Blu-Ray Disc Drive, Plus a Dvd drive…
   Thats alot of great hardware…….
   But the Ps2 is a Ps1 & 2…and it plays Dvds and Cds…
   It has great games and is definately not a dead system.

   It does come down to what you prefer, up until now the 360 has had more game but most of them are rubbish, my bro is a big fan of the 360 had it for nearly a year but aint got more than 8 games. I’m a Playstation fan myself and having only had my PS3 a few month i’ve got about 7 games with plans to get some more before the end of the year. So if anyone says there’s more games on the 360 technically theyre right but realistically not. Both are quite evenly matched overall produce great graphics i’d say PS3 wins by a very small margin on that, can’t notice any great difference in online play although my brother does moan about lagging on his 360 whenever i’m on the PS3 aswell but i dont notice any lag. the 360 media player is slightly better as it continues playing whilst your playing a game or have clicked anything else, but i dont listen to music whilst playing it ruins the game imo. Marketplace and Playtation store are fairly even the PS3 has web access, and the Playstation is cheaper overall. Blu ray dvd drive included, wi fi included, online subscription free; whereas on the 360 HD dvd drive over $/£100 more, wifi over $/£50 more, online subscribtion over $/£30 per year.
   I’d go for the PS3 if i were you it does seem to match the 360 blow for blow at the moment but the 360 was released at the height of its potential and sony always improve on their consoles as the years go by so they don’t seem to fade until the new console it released.
   PS3 will be the better ‘long run’ choice

   well everyone knows that at full potential the PS3 is way superior then the 360, I mean the ultimate games(halo and gears of war) for 360 has already come out and you should be able to experience its full potetial and yet its barely betting the PS3 which as of know the PS3 has a lot more things to come and more to experience, games(silent hill, metal gear, final fantasy, etc) eye toy, and many more
   PS3 has better graphics then 360
   on PS3 you get free online gaming,
   with a paid subscribtion get onlie gaming on the 360
   PS3 can play blue-rays, on a 360 in order to play HD-DVD’s you will need to buy its adaptor,
   PS3 has siaxis controller soon to be with vibration
   360 has controller with vibration
   360 is cheaper then PS3
   on the PS3 you get more than what you paid for.
   PS3 is able to interact with the PSP
   but it also depends on which kind of games you are into and what you want, so its your choice what you want, but I hope I have help you in your decission.
   I support CharismaITL’s answer, and you know why does the game developer take longer on making games for PS3, well it could be that it migh have better graphics, more features, bonuses, be able to use it with the six axis, to be able to interact with the PSP, and lot more, why else would they take longer to release games on a PS3 then on a 360, because they put more effort on a PS3 title then on a 360 one. wait for the game and it will be worth it.

    Personally I would recommend the Xbox 360. I have owned PS1, PS2, Xbox and Xbox 360. Ever since I purchased my 360 I have only played one PS2 game whereas on the 360 I have played at least 15 different games. The library of games available on the Xbox 360 is much bigger than anything PS3 has currently. New games of the Playstation 3 are games that have been out for a while on the 360, plus the Xbox 360 costs less and it has better online support than Playstation 3. You can’t go wrong with the Xbox 360. Costs less, more games, better online support, what more could you ask for?
