I was wondering if the quality of the gameplay being captured – Halo 3 in my case – is affected by where you capture from. So if i was capturing from a HDTV would the quality come out as HD? Sorry if this doesn’t make sense, but I’m fairly new to it.

im not sure but i think to make it record in HD you need HD cables for your xbox to dazzle and dazzle to the tv, and im not sure you can get HD AV plugs/cable for the dazzle, which you need for it to work.
