    yes, but despite the element at its heart it WAS roleplaying ame. i mean cmon, levelin up, LEARNIN skills not just getting them after a lil while, inventory, story items, quests…etc etc. its the hack n slash thing that set it apart. there are 1000s of shitty overdone turn-based rpgs(final fantasy clones) and yea, these days there are 1000s of shitty overdone hack n slash rpgs too lol. but still, diablo was the first and the best.
