   There isn’t currently a release date for it, but knowing Sony there will be a release sometime in early 2008, after the launch period has gone and sales have levelled out.
   This depends of course, on how well the current PS3’s sell. At the current rate, the silver edition may appear nearer Q3 of 2008, if at all.
   This is just an educated guess however.
