o.k i need 360 users on this question. Xbox 360 is catching my attention because of Halo 3 (of course) Xbox Live, and its affordability. Only thing is i’ve heard that they freeze up, and my friend even got the red ring of death, but I dont know if its a hugely common problem. Somebody please tell me if their 360 freezes up very constantly.

well since the new version came out, the red death ring thing doesn’t appear anymore soo, yeah i think that you should buy a X360, i will personaly get one for me at Xmas !
I actually just got my xbox back from the repair center because of the ring of death. They also sent me a free 1-month xbx live membership. 3 red lights mean an internal hardware problem. 4 red lights just mean the av cable is not plugged in correctly. But they do give a 3-year warranty on this internal hardware problem. I do think Microsoft has gotten all of the bugs out of their systems now, so you shouldn’t have to worry about it.
But Halo 3 is so worth it. The ring of death shouldn’t discourage you from buying the 360. It is an awesome system with great games.
