Man, I used to play this in the local Cilandak Town Square arcade, I used to rule Monza and Suzuka there, I went there recently & it was gone :(

It’s awesome as you can upsample to HD and it really is true HD as the geometery and such is actually rendered at the resolution you choose and not 480p scaled up!

Where did you get this emulator from?

Looks like NULL DC emulator has
a minor problem with the music
and voices. But the racing looks
solid. F355 Challenge is still one
of my favourite racing games.
Thankfully I still have my Dreamcast
and VGA cable so perhaps no need
for the Null DC. Its a solid and
fun and challenging racer on the
Dreamcast. And I have enjoyed
hours with it. The only downside
I found with the game was the
race replay which was a short
lap from the star of the race
and the end.

Happy memories! I used to have this on my DC, I enjoyed it but just plain sucked at it (it’s far, far harder that Daytona or Sega Rally)

My mistake, you’re right about the game running 4 NAOMI baords.

The DC version IS superior to the PS2 version because F355 Challenge originally ran on the Sega NAOMI board (make that 3 when referring to the deluxe cabinet). The PS2 port was actually done by ninja developer TOSE (known for Densetsu no Stafy and Virtua Quest).

Your driving is great but the digital steering sucks! Analog is the way to go on sims.
