i have both… guitar hero has songs for old people and a has great graphics.. rrockband has WAY more songs than GH and is quite harder to play songs with hammerons. my vote is rockband 2 since the GHWT music and online suck bad. 1 OUT OF 20 TRYIES FOR GOING ONLINE ON GH WORK WHERE AS ROCKBAND 2 WORKS EVERY SINGLE TIME.

No, idiot. Harmonix made Guitar Hero 1, Guitar Hero 2, and Rocks the 80s. They then sold the franchise to Activision, who, IMO, ruined the series. Harmonix went on to create Rock Band, which Activision (Neversoft) then copied for WT.

the only thing i dont like about guitarhero is how it doesnt look like they r really strumming or picking right for example ghwt and the past guitarhero games(gh1 2 3, encore, etc) ive playd guitar for awhile now and i think i should know.

HMX and MTV games created GH1,GH2,GH:80′s.
after that they dropped and created Rock Band
from then on out Neversoft/Activision made GH3,GHA,GHWT,GHM,ETC.

These 2 games should put away their differences and combine the 2 games. Rock Hero.
No, Activision and Neversoft and Harmonix all helped with the first GH. Harmonix quit before GH2 was thought of. Activision and Neversoft then created the next 3 GHs and Harmonix started making RB 1 and 2
wt is better, rockband was just a rip off of guitar hero, they just tried to make it better and it ended up being shitty anyway.. they rushed what guitar hero was planning out ahead of time; to even compare a game like that to gh is like comparing Marisa Miller to your mom
