I would count that as a silver lining TBH with you. D9 came out of nowhere, but ended up being enjoyable (and maybe even a good Halo substitute too). It puts some faith in me regarding the whole possible project, but…
A huge part of me is extremely glad that no movie’s being made, yet. All game-to-movie adaptations have sucked hard, at the golf-ball-through-the-garden-hose level. I’d rather not have our Halo be sullied by Hollywood.
