if it is dowloaded to my xbox why cant i stay connected to live? is there any way that i can convert the game into an arcade game so i can stay talking to my freinds in an xbox live party?

You can’t.They’re original Xbox game and 360 features like chatting and the guide button are not accessible when playing it. You can’t convert it to an Arcade game. Some original Xbox games were Live aware meaning they let you do things like access your friends list on the original Xbox so they’ll let you do it on the 360, but most aren’t. Fable is live aware, but you have to open the menu in the game and go to connect to Xbox Live. You can then see your friends list, but you can’t do anything so there’s really no point.
It’s because it’s not a XBOX 360 game. I think if you join a party before playing it, you could still talk. Not sure though.
Try playing an arcade game while its downloading. Thats what me and my friends do. We all usually get on Uno of Texas Hold’em.
