How Do People Get So Good In Video Games?

by GamePlay on January 28, 2010

I’m talking about the fighting video/MMORPGs and the FPS games like SWR, GC, MK, COD, MF, UR3, etc. etc.. I practice like they do but I can’t ever get as good as the pros. It’s so intense I occasionnally lose focus, and sometimes the game is too fast for me I don’t even know what’s going on. Is it something the pros were born with or am I just not cut for fighting/FPS games?

Some people don’t have lives so they try to fill their time living a secondary life because they suck at their primary life, the life that we live to the fullest.

Practice. You’ll find that after years of playing games your reflexes get much sharper, and that will improve gameplay. Whenever a game starts to become a chore (eg, dying 10 times on the same level and continuing to get frustrated) then just shut it off and take a break. Remember, the object of the game is to have fun, and when the fun stops it’s time to just walk away and relax.
I’d say Ratchet & Clank games would be good beginners for FPS games (especially in the arenas). It’s third person, but still pretty fun. Remember, no one starts out a pro, you have to practice at it. :)

Some people are just better in other games then others it kind of depends on the games rele like fighting gmes r good for ppl who can use the controls pretty fast and racing people have to be good with contorling and so on nd so on. But if you practice a lot like tke ur time into it, it mite jus work.
I know I’m not a expert and I’m a girl but this is from own experience. I mean i suck at specific games like racing.

I am bad at some and good at others. The thing that makes us good is that we probably 1 specific game every day of every week and we all sucked at one time you just have to deticate yourself and you will be great. Probably play around 3-6 hours every day and you will be pro.
