Not for the browser itself..you have to pay to get the browser and then you can access the Internet. Browser not free
connecting to the internet sso you can chat with you contacts and going on the wii shop chanel is free but if you want the browser you need to buy something called wii points. try going to EB games or Game or something to see the price for it uselly you get 2000 points for 20$. then in the back of the card you scratch a gray thing and it says the code then you go on wii shop channel and press buy wii points and press a place where it says something with wii point card and put in the code. then you sould have 2000 points. then go back to the main menu of the wii shop channel press wii software and press the internet browser icon and say download. thats it
