I have tried one good program, the BB flashback…and the game slows down when I play as the computer records. Is there a better recording program for this kind of thing. I want to make a movie of gameplay on my Game Maker game without any slowdowns.

fraps has a good in game movie recorder. I’ve also seen movies from D3Dgear (d3dgear.com)
both have plenty of options for in game recordings but you should purchase it instead of using the free versions. the free versions are just a glimpse of what you get and limit you a lot.
