by GamePlay on February 12, 2010

I have an xbox 360 and i what xbox live. I don’t have a telephone socket in my room to be able to use a modem.
So I want to connect my xbox to my laptop with the ethrnet cable and get the internet from there.

Maybe you can try connecting the Xbox to your laptop via ad-hoc wireless connection. Its free and you don’t need to burn $60 bucks on a wifi adapter.

Yes it is. If you have WI-FI.

umm how is your laptop getting the internet? with no telephone socket in the room.
If you are getting wireless internet in the room already, just get a wireless network adaptor for the xbox, then you wont need to have your laptop on all the time your using the xbox (which you would if your using internet bridgeing)
If you have wired internet access just get a hub and run another line to the xbox.
If you dont have wired/wireless internet in the room it wont matter how you connect the laptop and xbox.
