I have a gamertag on my xbox elite and I would like to get another xbox. Is there any place i could go to where they can take my gamertag and put it on the other hard drive?

Just go to the option called “Recover Gamertag.” Make sure you’re signed out then press the xbox logo button. The option should come up.
You can buy an xbox memory card and put your profile on that and take it anywhere. Or if you have xbox live you can recover your account to any other xbox with xbox live. Those are your only options. I would go with the memory card for sure.
1) switch out the hard drives
2) go to Recover Gamertag and just put in the old gamertag, your name, email address and password
