Is There A Way To Access The Main Menu During Game Play? Playstation 3?

I want to know if you can like pause the game and access the “Main Menu” type thing and then get back to the game without quitting it?
On the Playstation 3.

    no, but they will release a update which allows you to listen music and access menu while playing games..

    No u cant but in july there’ll be an update dont listen to that dan-o guy. You can got to the xmb while on the internet.
