i have original ps2 games but one by one they started freezing during gameplay and ended up not functioning.is there any method of reviving them?

You may just need to clean it really well. Here is a site with a step-by-step guide to cleaning your PS2:http://arstechnica.com/articles/paedia/h...
If this doesn’t work, it may be time to replace it.

its not the games its the player, it starts like that & just gets worse & worse. I used up 2 like that now Im on my third
