I was just informed that there is a large recall on xbox 360. You need to contact the maker and find out if they will give you a new one or atleast refurbish the one you got!

try another game, sometimes even new games are defective, and if thats the case exchange it, and if its the 360 get to lookin for that warranty

360′s are cheap. You’re Xbox is broken.
Games can freeze it.
Oblivion freezes it all the time. Halo never crashes it.

chances are your tower is crooked somehow, or you dvdrom drive is either faulty, crooked itself, or both. Just use your warrenty. most now come with them for 3 years or life depending on which system you got. My origional x-box didnt read cds and i had no warrenty so i just repladed the dvdrom drive and it works like a hamp again
