I just wanted to upload this video to answer the daily questions about how to capture Halo 3 gameplay or Xbox footage in general. This happens to be close to my exact setup and he has the exact capture card I use (Dazzle 170). Enjoy!

*sigh..* the thing about my recorder is i do everything, have your good setup, good wires and render as very high. but still i can’t get great quality… it’s bothersom

i use a dazzle hollywood,
which uses firwire,
which is like 10x better than usb
ya its fine
ive got easycap its proven to be just as good as dazzle but its only 10-15 bux (now im not going to brag on how much better it is because that would only lead to an arguement, if you truly beleve dazzle is better then i respect your oppinion, MY(repeat)MY recomendation is easycap)
Hey is it possible to do it with the old Dazzel capture card? The one that looks rectangular?

I just plug into my settop box. It has a HDD recorder.
My setup is cheaper. It does all the things yours does too. My xbox is downstairs and my computer is upstairs. 50ft cable bay bay.
