Yes those games are good. You will notice nintendo manages to be the almost sole provider of these games. If nintento didn’t do so the wii would be sunk. Also any third party games made would have faired better on a real system, if said games weren’t cross platform already. In that case that already did.
I love RE4: Wii Edition, cant wait to get Umbrella Chronicles. But I really wish they werent on-rails games. I mainly bought my Wii for all the RE games and the new Silent Hill (this one) but its really upsetting me that Capcom keeps making on-rails shooters and nothing else. I want them to do what they did with the GameCube, make some good, classic RE games while making the action games for the PS3.
As a matter of fact, probably i would not. I am a male, and playing as a male that somewhat resembles me really makes the game more fun. I remember in GTA SA, I was a bit upset that I had to play as a black character, but not because I’m racist, because I want someone that looks like me. I don’t like playing as something I’m not, it makes it seem unreal to me. When I play RE 2, I always play as Leon with the Leon disk, the Claire disk usually just collects dust.

A: what difference does it make what your character’s gender is? If Henry Townshend was Henrietta Townshend would you still like SH4 so much? B: SH4 had excessive backtracking and was fairly repetitive, and felt really short. And Henry can only say “What the hell?”

you also use a wii if you want to play the best version of resident evil 4, or to play retro games without having to go buy old consoles to do so, or to play games without using the same controller that we’ve been stuck with for the past decade. (all of them have been extremely similar, the only differences being the location and names of the buttons on the right, the position of the right analog stick, and the number of shoulder buttons.) i admit, i prefer ps3. but the wii is damn good too.

Agreed I heard on G4 a while back that Nintendo was losing lots of money due to the Wii. The only thing that’s really making them alout of money right now is the Nintendo DS & DSI.
They tried, but unfortunetly nothing truly good will come out of the wii. Nintendo games included, ( I’m looking at you Mario and Sonic at the Olympic games…)
