Sims 2: Normal Gameplay When It’s Meant To Be Like A Filp Clip…:s?

I have the sims 2 and whenever something special happens, like a sim proposing, a sim giving birth, first kiss etc the little movie thing doesn’t happen. It’s just like normal gameplay and it’s really starting to annoy me :( I’ve looked in the gameplay options and nothing’s there does anyone know know how to solve this problem? answers will be very much appreciated

    That’s the Special Events camera (I think that’s what it’s called.) It’s under the Video options. But you have to have a pretty good graphics card to handle it. If the option is grayed out, then your system won’t be able to handle it.

    maybe you should try reinstalling?
    your gonna lose the family though…
