So, good idea! Wii’s make Great family party games, wii sports(4players) is great for the family, and wii play(only 2 players though) and wii resort(4players), wii fit seems to fit your mom’s description, those four games might get the family and the 15 yr old going, Usually, if the game has the word “WII” in front of the title (i.e.Wii sports, Wii resort, Wii play ect.), its pretty much a good family game, i suggest Animal Crossing for the 15 yr old girl, the game takes time(literally) but its fun.
Note:the wii only has a few good singleplayer games, so if you buy it for single play, its not worth it.
A lot of mario games are fun for the whole family such as Mario Party, Mario Kart, Super Mario Galaxy and Super Paper Mario. Oh Super Smash Bros. Brawl is a popular and fun game too!
All of the ‘standard’ wii games are pretty fun for awhile. Wii Sports, Wii Play, Wii Music, and the new Wii Sports Resort.
Most of the games above aren’t really ‘exercise-y’. If you really want a workout, get Wii Fit, Active Life: Outdoor Challenge, or Active Life: Extreme Challenge, maybe the new Punch Out!
I know it exists for almost all of the other consoles too, but my fave game on my Wii is Rock Band
You need Wii Fit, Wii Sport, Wii Play, Wii Sport Resort. Wii Ski is cool. Should get a Mario Bros game (Mario Kart, Mario Party, something like that.) Those are really the “required” titles (I think), and then get something in the flavor your 15 yr old is headed. There are some sport games (the new NHL 2010 looks awesome), toy type games (the Lego Star Wars, Batman are a lot of fun if you’re a fan), some pretty violent shoot-em-ups (Madworld, CORE), ahhh yes and Guitar Band/Hero is a kick!
