uh….take your 360 BACK. It’s going to FAIL or DIE whichever term you prefer.
Microsoft just extended the one year warranty to a three year warranty because they didn’t want to spend BILLIONS of dollars on a legal recall. Also they are currently in the middle of TWO lawsuits for selling a product they knew was defective.
95% of all 360s die within their first three months of use.
It’s not a matter of if your system will die it’s a matter of when.
save your money for the playstation 3…they just dropped the price you know.

Maybe get a game that will last a while, or a game that you can play online for a while.

You need to check if you have the new heatsink installed in your elite. They have been installing these new heatsinks in the newly manufactured ones. If you have a launch console, more than likely you don’t have one. If you bought one recently, you should be okay. The side vent actually blows out cool air if you have one. Some good ways to keep it cool is one a laptop cooler. You should buy an intec notebook cooler, it has an aluminum surface and actually absorbs a lot of the heat from the bottom. Also get a 4 inch desk fan and place it on the side vent. Don’t place it on the back. Putting a fan on the side will allow more air flow to the heatsinks and it keeps it much cooler.
