I’m sort of torn between getting an XBOX 360 or a Nintendo Wii. ‘Cause I used to play XBOX so much when I was younger (can the 360 play the original games too?) and i love Nintendo, snes games are great and I like the Wii remote game play. I like how Ps3 sounds but is it really so amazing?

I own and would say Wii is..But I’m a nintendo fan. Depends on what type of games you like to play. Wii is more family oriented and of course they have a lot of the classic names in nintendo history. I like Smash Bros Brawl, Mario Kart, Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess, Mario party, ect. You can also purchase classic snes games on the wii like Mario Bros 1 2 & 3 or kirby games just incase you chucked your old systems. Some games require you to be physical like the Wii sports and playing Bleach shattered blade is pretty fun.
Xbox 360 is good too though esp if you like shooting games like Halo or Call of duty, or if you’re Guitar Hero. I suck at these lol but it’s still fun to talk to and play people online. I usually play at my friends though, since I don’t own a 360 yet. i plan to get one though and Eventually you’ll probably get both..it’s just a matter of which one you rather have more right now. They are both the best systems right now in my opinion (don’t hate me ps3 fans-sorry lol) Good luck
well, it’s all on preference. if you like hardcore, online gaming at t’s core magnitude, then the 360. if you want to experience some of the worlds best graphics and sounds, and crisp cinematic Gameplay, the PS3 is for you. if you just like games to play for about 3-5 hours and just have pure fun with your friends, the Wii is for you.
Pros
Wii: has motion sensitivity, great features, very fun and entertaining games
360: great competitive multiplayer, best online play, and good control scheme.
PS3: Powerful system, great graphics, familar control scheme that is very Nostlagic
Cons:
Wii: Can get boring by yourself, graphics are a bit last-gen, and games are mainly motion-controlled which can be annoying.
360: Need some getting used to the control, online costs cash, games are pricey.
PS3: Fragile, Pretty big, and most definitly EXPENSIVE!!!!!!

If I were you I would choose the 360 Elite. It’s proven to have better performance overall. Also it has more games and better online game play, even if you have to pay. The Wii is fun and all, but the graphics and game play for some games are horrid. The Wii doesn’t have as nearly as much games as the other two consoles. So I would say you should just get the XBOX 360, it doesn’t have to be an Elite, but that’s what I recommend.

Xbox 360 breaks all the time plus it has barely any good games coming out in 09, Wii is fun at first but then it gets boring. PS3 you also get a Blu-Ray player and you can have video streaming. And there are many more reasons to get a PS3
I prefer the Ps3. I own both the Ps3 and the Xbox, but I just play my Ps3 more. The Xbox is not a bad console it is just not what I like. The controller is awesome and it does have gears of war, halo 3, and left 4 dead which I own and are amazing. It is because I had the Ps2 and Ps as a kid and I loved them both. Now that the Ps3 came out why would I switch to another brand. I’m loyal to the Sony brand and I will always be.
If you do save enough money up think about buying the Ps3 it is a very good console and you will love it. It may be alien territory but you’ll pick up. The pros about the Ps3 are that it has blue-ray, free online, home, and an assortment of exclusive titles. For instance, God of War 3, Socom Confrontation, Resistance:Fall of Man, Resistance 2, LittleBigPlanet, Uncharted:Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted: Among Thieves, Grand Turismo 5, Heavenly Sword, and my favorite, Metal Gear Solid 4. As you can see Ps3 has many titles worth trying and no gamer should be missing these games.
This answer was not on hating the Xbox it was just my view on the consoles. They are both outstanding consoles, but I prefer the Ps3.
I prefer XBox 360, Here are the reasons:
1. XBox Live is amazing
2. Graphics are amazing! As good as the PS3
3. More games
4. Looks great
5. Controller is a lot better
6. Cheaper
7. Watch DVDs, play all XBox 360 games, with a hard drive (comes with the Pro) you can play al XBox 360 games + over 300 XBOX games and you can isten to music while you pay your games
PS3 you can’t play PS2 games. BEAT THAT!
Also, if you don ‘t want to play online, you still sign up on your 360 for silver, which is free, and you can still add friends, text, talk, download FREE demos, and that is cool. BEAT THAT PS3!!! lol, sorry. But I am agianst Sony big tme. Every time sony sells a PS3, they lose money. Google it.

the PS3 is good, but its not good for first-person shooters, and XBox is perfect for that.
Xbox just plain has better games than the others, and a better online community
