Either having your PS3 as close to the wireless access point as possible or getting a high-gain antennae for your router to increase its range.

do u have all the correct ports open…..do a internet check on urps3
nat type should be 2
if its 3 then there is your prob
also try switchin upnp on or off…opposite of which it ishttp://ps3forums.com has a good guide on changing settings
got to that site and click online/networking or somethin then on the changing nat type tutorial

if wireless ain’t doing it for you..then i think you should use an Ethernet wire….it will definitely help you get some speed and stability
NOTE: it also depends on the type on Internet connection you may have….so check on that..

Your probably getting a bad signal try moving it closer to the PS3 or get a Router!! GOOD LUCK!!
