I’m running Windows XP Service Pack 3 on a Dell Inspiron E1505 with an ATI Mobility Radeon 1400 video card. The XP patches have not corrected this problem.
When I Try To Play Final Fantasy Vii, I Watch The Opening Video But When Gameplay Starts It Goes Black.?

The game has many issues with XP. I suggest playing the PS1 version using ePSXe, as it runs with no errors.
