I am looking at buying a Nintendo Wii but do not want to pay the money on the internet and all stores I have checked do not have any in stock. I was wondering if anyone knew when the Wii will be back in stock.

The Wii is always in stores. The problem is once they get them, they never last long. My local Walmart blew through 30 in 15 minutes. Supply is still exceeding demand and since the system is revolutionary and it appeals to not only regular gamers but average people, it is a really hot comodity. I suggest talking with your local retailer and finding out what days they get shipments in. On those days, get there early and hopefully some will have arrived that you can purchase.
Sunday mornings right when the store opens. I got lucky at BestBuy about a month ago after about 6 weeks of showing up every Sunday at 9:30am.
Definitely chat up the people working at the store to see when they normally get a Wii in and when they last had one. I visited BB, Fred Meyer, Target, and EB until I finally got one.
It’s in now at Walmart….http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.d…
I’m guessing you won’t be able to find a wii (without getting REALLY lucky) will be about augest or september. By then they should be everywhere.
ebay
At the current rate…2009!!!
Sorry to be the bringer of bad news, but you can always order one off of the Internet.
Not off of E-bay, though. that will just make the waiting period go to 2010. Go somewhere like Nintendo.com or walmart.com.
Well luckily my mom works at Walmart. I called her about a month ago and asked her to see if they had any Wii’s and somehow they had one left. If that wouldn’t have happened I probably still wouldnt have one. Just keep trying stores and askign when they get shipments
If you get to the store before it opens on the date the shipment arrives (ask a sales associate for this date), you can wait in line to get a console, but they are only in the stores for about a half hour, so i’d suggest to get in there early! If you want to get a no-hassle console, ask a store worker if there are pre-orders availiable; the fee may be about $50 bucks, but if you really don’t want to wait in line for a Wii, and still want one, this would be the best way to go.(Think of the fee as just one less game that you can buy, but you are guaranteed to get a Wii!)
