I usually download the PS3 updates from the playstation website but they still have the 2.43 update available. Does anyone know when they will have the2.5 update to download. I can’t download it directly to my ps3 because it takes too long and I don’t want to download. Can someone please provide me with some information on this? Thank you…

An update to the PS3™ system software was released on October 15, 2008. 2.5 is already on playstation.com
I am not sure about that but i have heard from more than one person that if you’re ps3 is playing all the games already including you’re bluerays then not to upgrade because they have had probs since updating theirs and they had to delete the upgrade and it still didn’t work right after the upload so the had to send it back and get replacement and on top of all of that haven’t you heard the saying if somethings not broken then don’t try to fix it
