Why Do I Get Bored With Video Games So Quickly?

every time i buy a video game i play it for about an hour and then i never pick it up again. i like playing them but i just get bored to quickly and can’t get myself to play them again. for instance i bought killzone 2 and played it for about an hour and it has been months since i played it again. same thing happened with resistance 2 prototype, littlebigplanet motorstorm,and a bunch of other games.

    Perhaps you just aren’t getting the right game to keep you entertained. Our tastes change over time, so it’s entirely possible you may find other games preferable right now. It’s also possible you no longer hold very much interest in gaming, and should start to find other things you like to do.

    I see you like shooters, try some of the big names, such as; Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: World at War, Left 4 Dead (*This doesn’t get old for me, nothing is ever in the same place everytime you play *), Gears of War 2. Also try playing online, that is always FUN! Its what i do.

    How about getting out of the games and do something creative or productive or both. The former might in include photographing or painting/drawing your neighborhood or city and the latter might include volunteering on some task that needed getting done.

    you should rotate your videogames if you get board just play another until you get board with it and go back to the first one

    you probably dont play them online
    online is much more addictive
    apart from prototype thats only single player
