I have an XBox360 viewed in HD on a 72″ (6′) projection screen. The image quality is great. But I can’t play most first person or third person games for more than 15-30 minutes without becoming seriously ill. I start getting headache within minutes of gameplay and by the end my stomache is very queasy and I feel very dizzy.
Is this because I’m suceptible to something caused by the game or the size of the screen? Is it because I do something wrong in the way I use the controller to move in first person and third person gaming? Is there anyway to overcome this problem or do I just have to stick with games like Tiger Woods Golf?

You are suffering from “simulator sickness”. I also have the same problem while playing any FPS. Short 10-15 minute sessions of game play seem to be ok for me.

My wife has the same affliction… its not the TV though.. its you.
Its is a problem that can reult from a couple of root issues, occular problems with the ways your eyes translate and receive information, inner ear problems and vertigo can relate even.
Many people have this to a small degree, most noticed when trying to read a book while being a passenger in a car, and get “car sick”.
There is a very realistic form of movement going on in one part of the room, while the rest is still. The problem may be reduced with a smaller TV, but you may need to see a doctor to see if you have an eye problem that may be fixed
    Good luck, and good gaming!

Maybe you are throwing off your inner ear, which is what controls your balance. Do you move around a lot, and get relly anxious while playing?
