compressed spray is available at staples , office depot wall mart etc.
Your fans are probably clogged causing them to make noise. there inefficiency is causing the comp to get hot and become sluggish. talk your mom into letting you clean it out with a 10 dollar can of air, or get raped up the *** when you take it to get professionally cleaned best buy and they charge u like 100 bucks. your choice lol, but they will rip you off and they will use that same can of air. if you do it yourself, touch something metal to ground yourself before starting. Spray out all the fans so there is no dust left when your done. DO NOT HOLD THE CAN UPSIDE DOWN. this will dispense liquid instead of air and could damage ur pc. If any liquid does come out wait a while for it to dry b4 starting her up again. o yea unplug the pc while u do this. If your fans still make noise you may need to replace them. Fans generly cost less then 10 bucks each and are easy to swap out. DO NOT TOUCH ANY CIRCUIT BOARDS with your fingers. just blow it all out with the air. If you do touch you could risk static frying it. fans are fin to touch. dont bring anything magnetic near by and you should be fine.
DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT
USE A VACUUM LIKE THE ABOVE POSTER SAID
Vacuums create a huge amount of static electricity and will fry your computer.
the other poster siad leave your case open with a fan. this creates a large chance for damage do to static electricity, more dust getting in etc. Cases are designed to keep dust out. Obviously after a while this doent work and you need to clean, but leaving your case open long turn is a bad idea. Also thats not fixing the noise problem, just keeping your pc cool.

Your PC is overheating. The person that told you to clean the fan is worried that dust & grime is preventing proper airflow and allowing your pc to get too hot. If you have a vacuum cleaner that can blow air then you can connect the hose to that outlet and use the blower side to blow out the dust inside your pc. Don’t use liquids to clean your pc because anything water based will short circuit the motherboard and then you kill your pc.

could be that your motherboard or videocard is overheating. do you have any cooling system for your pc?
if you don’t have any cooling system for your pc, just open the side of the tower casing of your motherboard and then face an electric fan to it so that it can provide cooling for your pc…
    that should do it… :)
the noise would be your hard drive and the processor fan. most processor fans make noise and some hard drives make noise when turned on.

What type of noise does it make? PCs make lots of noises during the course of useage. Some good and normal, some bad…Please describe the noise.
Taking the cover off the PC case will not necessarily hurt the PC…however, the inside is a controlled environment, you have air blowing in from the front and out through the back…opening the case disrupts that air flow and could cause heat issues.
