Need for Speed: Carbon keeps freezing on my PS2 slim, any tips to stop this?

Check the disk for scratches, and then wipe it down with a lint free cloth, if it doesn’t work well…uhhh…idk
Buy a laser cleaning disc and also clean the game itself with a non abrasive cloth. Spit works well as a cleaner..really it does.
use a laser disc cleaner or by a new carbon disc later hope this helps
yup what spanky said but also make sure ur not playing for long periods of time with the slim, cuz there isnt a fan in those
