Why Video Games Don’t Influence Violence And Such?

by GamePlay on October 25, 2009

I’m writing an essay on why video games doesn’t influence murderers, rapists, etc. Can anyone think of good points, possible good sources, etc? Thanks so much!

Well because the gamers know that it’s just a game. If you’re on normal state of thinking you know what’s prohibited in the real world, prohibited things that you can do in a game. Murderers, rapists, and the like are driven by motives far from playing video games. Video games are just there to give you entertainment or maybe to the extent of letting you experience a role that you won’t attain in reality. But in the end, once you turn off your console, you’re back to your senses and you will realize the things you did back in the game can not be done in real world. Awareness of real life consequences help you come up with this realization. So if you’re ignorant of these consequences, then that’s when the game will take over you, though that won’t likely happen if you have other people to guide you during your childhood.

Well basic point would be. Games dont influence rapists cause unless your a crazy person you can understand reality and video game worlds so only person games would influence badly are people who are young and might not understand and thats why games come with age ratings so little kiddies shouldnt b out playing grand theft auto shooting people lolz

If your child becomes violent after playing a game, you have failed as a parent.
