5 Stars Why I love MY Wii
Well as wii know there is no other game like the Wii for fun and fitness! And it always lives up to ones expectations 100% !
Once you play one at a friends house you are then hooked ! And they keep coming out with more and more challenges and fun things to do ! And what a great way to get kids and adults as well, up and moving .!
Any age can play ….. even people with disabilities !
So I love my Wii and it was shipped perfectly and on time!
I have only good things to say about this product !
OH one problem I with Amazon though…I was only allowed to buy one nunchuck. I needed three of them and they limited me to one ?????? Don’t understand that one . So I will keep that in mind next time I shop ,
Thanks !
5 Stars Wii is Extrordinary
I come from a family of longtanding Nintendo fans, and I have to say that every family should have a Wii. The system is very impressive, even after I’ve had it for a year. I can not believe any negative reviews for this system. But if you’re the kind of person who thinks graphics are everything, don’t bother to buy this product. You’ll just be disapointed. The Wii does not have the best graphics, not as much as 360 and PS3, but it is the best game console I ever bought. For the first three days I had the Wii, I did not leave my living room. No food, drinks, or bathroom. Call me obsessed, but it’s true. Another thing, the Wii does not have many single player only games. It is more of a family/party console.
So, if you want a good family system, or if you are wondering what console to set up for a party, the Wii is the best choice.
5 Stars A wii for the ages!
So much fun playing the sports pak and the graphics are beautiful! Don’t bother buying the Opera browser download for internet browsing. The quality is poor and not all www sites are accessible. But we bought it to get our butts up and out the chairs and it’s working! If nothing else my hubby and I are playing and laughing together while the rains pours outside. The boxing segment will really get you moving and burning calories! Tennis would be second for physical activity while bowling and golf are fairly tame but lots of fun. GAME ON!
5 Stars Wii – The right console for great fun with family and friends!
Wii introduced me to the world of video gaming. I’d never been a video game player growing up and I even sucked at playing games on early systems like Atari. I was afraid of pitting myself against other kids at video game arcades during my teenage…as everyone always beat me hollow! I watched my friends play the XBox and the PS2 a couple of years ago but never felt confident enough to pick up the controller. Then came the Wii in 2006 and it changed my definition of a video game console.
Wii is truly innovative as it allowed people like me to play video games for the first time. Wii Sports – the game that comes with the console -makes great use of the wireless remote. All of a sudden, I can golf or box or bat away in my living room. It simulates the game really well and you feel like you’re really playing the game. Of course, it’s not really the same thing as playing outdoors but then how many times do I get the chance to play the real game anyway! It’s really fun to play the games available for the Wii with friends and family, and share some great times together. Wii seems to have the best collection of family friendly games.
With games like Wii Fit, Dance Dance Revolution, Hannah Montana World Tour, Jillian’s 30 day shred the Wii has become a great way to exercise. With games like Guitar Hero and Wii Music we can rock out. With Wii Sports, Wii Play, Wii Ski, Mario Kart we can simulate some fun sports right in our living room. And of course, there are Zelda and Metroid Prime type games available if you’re into “real” gaming.
I see XBox and PS3 more as the hard core gamer consoles, especially given the choice of games available for them. On the other hand, Wii really shines as a family console which can be played by ages 5 to 99. It seems like the best console for a night with family and friends, even people like me who still suck at the hard core video games can have fun with this one.
5 Stars Lives Up To The Hype – Recommended!
The “Wii” is by far the best video game system we have ever owned and is much enjoyed by our son (12), daughter (16), my wife (48) and me (44). The controls were easy for all of us to master (using the included Wii Sports game to learn).
We have had the Wii for about 7 months and have about 12 or so games for the system, not including all of the GameCube games that it plays as well (which was important of us since we had about 30).
The ability to connect over our Internet connection and play games with on-line players is a big plus and works very well (we recommend Mario Kart Wii with Wii Wheel for this, very fun). The on-line polls and contests are also fun.
Highly recommended!
