I’m flying down to Mexico pretty soon with some friends and I’ll be there for five days. We’re going to a nice Holiday Inn hotel and I want to bring my Playstation 3 with me. I have an RF cable to hook up to the TV, but I’m not sure if the TV will be able to switch between outputs or if we’ll be able to have accessibility to the TV’s outputs at all.
Should I take the chance? What are the odds that it’ll work?

Its a gamble, but the angry video game nerd usually speaks the truth
Most hotels tell you not to mess with the connections of the their TVs. They might charge you a fee if they find out or see you have tampered with it. But if the TV is just like any other TV, it might work. Another issue is if the remote might not have a “input” button for you to switch to a input channel. Hotels usually want to limit you to only their channels.
Should not be a problem if it is a commercial hotel like you said.
If you want to get really crazy, just call them or another Holiday Inn in Mexico and ask them straight up. It would suck to haul a heavy PS3 all over the place and find out later that it won’t work.
….Or maybe just go get a PSP!
Inputs on the TV, not outputs…
It depends on the Hotel, and it depends on the TV that is in the room you get. Even in the same hotel, I doubt that every one of their TVs are the same.
You won’t know until you get there.
