this game is so much better than fifa, i love fifa but now u can actually set plays and make runs and plays that u can never do with fifa!
can i use the normal controller (classic) or the came cube controller and play this game like every other winning eleven? I mean, with the buttons, not with this nunchuk and wii-mote

i also want to know this, if you can play it with the normal controller, i am gonna buy it

I’m only giving out some information about the game. I doubt I’m the only one who doesn’t think that shaking the nunchuck to shoot is a good idea. It even says in the instruction booklet that shooting is automatic and you can’t control it–sorry but I think that sucks. And how am I full of shit?? Just wait till you play it and you’ll see where I’m coming from.

You sound like you’re full of shit tokyo. If you can’t appreciate what Konami is doing here, then you’re a fool.

Also the shooting is very sketchy. Shaking the nunchuck doesn’t seem to give you much control over the direction or power.
Definitely no where near as good as the original Winning Elevens/Pro-Evos

I’ve been playing this for a week now and the passing is good, but that’s about the only thing that is better. Defending is hopeless–you just continually click on the opposing forward until your player closes him down. For cross balls, there is no option but for a high ball, unlike the low and mid height crosses of the PS2. Also, almost zero editing–only team and player names can be edited–no uniforms or faces etc. Dribbling is tricky at 1st too as you either use the nunchuck or the wiimote.

Great controls, though the pass-thru passes wil be difficult to pull off real-time, oh man imagine making the wall… i hope that with practice it will not be so hard. Anyway they should add the option to play with classic controls too just to be safe. I didnt get the movement you just point and the guy auto-runs o the poointer position?

I’d rather see Nintendo develop a foot sensor first and then put a soccer game together.
