5 Stars Fun, educational, and absorbing
My daughter loves this game and plays for hours. The graphics and sounds are great, and there is a great deal of educational material about each animal. There is a wide variety of exotic animals, such as meerkats, anacondas, warthogs, fossas, as well as the typical zoo lions, tigers, bears, etc. This is a big favorite in our house.
5 Stars Realistic and interesting
My boyfriend got me this game as a present, and although there are many other animal games out there -pet vet, dogz, etc. this is game that adults can enjoy without worry that it’s too childish. Minus the storyline, with free-roaming play, it is similar to Trauma Center games. There are animated animals, interesting facts about them, and each one must be diagnosed and treated before new animals can arrive. The only thing I would say that they could have improved on is by adding more animals and more than one save file for replay and multiple players. The game continues as you treat some of the same animals each time with a different problem in order to gain badges of competence in each animal category. Some ailments include; broken bones, parasites, swallowing foreign objects, viruses, or just under/over weight problems.

I give this game 4 stars. It is overall very fun and I love the setting. I want to be a vet and I love the game because of that. Most games are boring but I love this and it never gets boring. This came has pretty good graphics and the sounds are awsome. This came can never be beat, but you stop getting new animals once you complete it. You have to fix all animals the same way, bet you deal with teeth, eyes, bones, heart beat, cuts, ticks, and much more. Overall this came gets a four star.

I bought this game thinking it would be like Trauma Center 1 and 2 ,only animals instead of people.
Not even close,It is sooooooo easy that after playing all afternoon waiting to get a harder case to solve I looked in the awards room and found I had every Award already.You get a mammal award,Bird Award,South American Animal Award,African Animal Award,Asian Animal award,and a couple others.
I think its great for kids 13 and under that might want to become vets.It just didn’t have me on the edge of my seat like Under The Knife 2.
You check the animals with a magnifying glass,check eyes and teeth.You may have to brush there teeth or clean there eyes and put eyedrops.
Most of the animals I found had lil scratches and you had to apply lice medicine to kill the parasites,these are so easy A+ every time.
While preforming an X-Ray you may find an animal which has swallowed a spoon or fork(how they got a whole of this in a nice fenced in zoo I’ll never know).
Also some animals need a lil shaving cream rubbed on,then a lil shaving,then antibiotics,Then very bsic stitches ,no zig=zags like in trauma center ,You can draw a lil line over the cut like this(–) and recieve an A+.
There are alot of tests you compareto the animals record above like breathing,pulse,temp,weight etc….,but again this just wasn’t what I expected.Afyer 2 days of repetitive surgerys I had mastered after the first try I ende up getting High School Musical Making the Cut,Hannah Montannah Music Jam,Bratz Super Babyz,The Suite life of Zack and Cody and Cakemania 2 ,All which blow the top off this game and I’m a 30 year old MOM.I had a gift card specifically for Ds games ,so I am far from rich,but and having a blast w/these new games.
4 stars is as a kids review definately not even a terrible gamer MOM like me!
5 Stars Animal Hospital
I bought this DS game for my 8 yr old sons birthday, along with 3 other games. He and his 9 yr old brother took turns playing it for hours that day (which,I feel I got my monies worth right there because it isnt much that occupies 2 active boys)and it being months later that I purchased it they still go back and look for the game to play. They showed me some of the things you have to do on the game, such as fixing an animals broken bones(which they thought was just neat!!), and removing an animal bad tooth by actually wiggling it back and forth till it comes out(they wanted me to try it, but I thought it was gross!) There were a number of things to keep them entertained for quite some time. I would highly recommend this game!!!
